We believe in Jesus
We believe that Jesus is exactly who He says He is.
Christ is not Jesus’ last name but identifies Him as the Messiah (Christ is the Greek translation of Messiah), the fulfillment of the Old Testament promises that God saves His people.
He voluntarily paid for our sins by dying on the cross for us. His death gained salvation for all who receive it as a gift by trusting in Him alone. He rose from the dead and is the only Mediator between God and us.

We believe that God offers forgiveness in the waters of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe that Baptism is a connection of the water with God’s Word that blesses us with grace and forgiveness, and that in the waters of baptism we receive a new identity, becoming children of God.
Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call. – Acts 2:38-39
We believe that as we gather around the Lord’s Supper to celebrate, Jesus is present in a way that is far more profound than mere symbolism or sentiment. We believe that Jesus' body and blood are present in and with the bread and the wine, and that in this meal God grants forgiveness of sins, strengthens our faith, and empowers us to live God-pleasing lives. What a beautiful thing that we get to taste and experience that forgiveness tangibly.

Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Scripture Alone
GRACE ALONE
God loves all people, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him, and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9
FAITH ALONE
By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. - John 3:16
SCRIPTURE ALONE
The Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.
All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. - 2 Timothy 3:16

We are a Creedal Church
We are a church that affirms and aligns with the historic statements of faith. Those statements of belief are found in three historic creeds of the ancient church.
We believe that all who are baptized are baptized into the faith and affirm the faith as expressed in the Apostles Creed. We align our unity of faith in the expression of the Nicene Creed as together we partake in the Lord’s Supper. We affirm the power and the work of the Trinity as expressed in the Athanasian Creed.
The power of the creeds is the unification of faith with the church on earth prior to us and the church on earth beyond us.
